Project Overview

Winner of the ‘2012 Master Builders Commercial Award’ – This project involved the major refurbishment to the existing multi-storey Riddoch building and multi-storey extension.

The Main Corner project connects the existing buildings via multi-purpose spaces and a striking new entrance foyer.

The City Hall terrace now flows through to Bay Road at ground level, while a glass atrium provides access to the rejuvenated Riddoch Art Gallery and upper floor spaces.

This included a humidity and temperature controlled art gallery and art storage area with a C-Bus lighting control system, digital media and vertical transportation.
