Project Overview
Secon consulting engineers has worked closely with the City of Playford and JPE design to create this world class sporting facility.
The precinct includes an international standard 18 court tennis complex with modern facilities which overlook the whole site. It also includes a sunken show court, hot shot tennis courts for junior tennis players, community tennis courts, basketball court and barbeque facilities.
Each court is provided with LED sports lighting illuminated international lighting levels with dimming capability to reduce running costs and adjust the lighting to suit usage.
A site wide PA system allows event organisers to broadcast messages throughout the facility keeping both players and spectators up to date with event happenings.
Secon designed the electrical, electronic, mechanical, fire and hydraulic services, with a key focus on innovation and reducing running costs to the Tennis Club and council.
The facility is expected to attract high quality tournaments including international satellite tennis events.
