Project Overview
Explore the development of Adelaide’s Morphettville Race Course’s new Function and Event Centre, set to replace the former Gerard Pavilion. This project is a significant component of the South Australian Jockey Club’s $500 million initiative to revitalize the racecourse. Designed by Cox Architecture, the new venue offers uninterrupted panoramic views of the racecourse, Adelaide Hills and the City. Featuring a ground floor with a seating capacity for 300 guests and an upper level accommodating up to 600 seated guests, the Morphettville Centre promises a unique event experience.
Secon Consulting Engineers take pride in contributing Electrical, Security, Communications, Mechanical, Fire Protection, Acoustic, Hydraulic and Vertical Transportation Services to this innovative project.
In its entirety, the new Function and Event Centre reflects a concerted endeavor to elevate the Morphettville Race Course, creating a venue conducive to community gatherings.
