Secon Consulting Engineers were engaged by EC Carpets to design the Building Services for their new manufacturing facility in Lonsdale, South Australia.
This development consolidated EC Carpets operation in Adelaide to a single facility which includes:-
- Over 14,000m2 of manufacturing and storage
- Head office of 900m2 over 2 stories
- State of the art carpet manufacturing facility including batching plant
Secon’s designs include
- Lighting design tailored to suit task performed from storage, manufacturing and QA inspection
- Site wide access control and CCTV
- Monitored energy metering system
- High pressure gas train design and safety systems
- Manufacturing trade waste and tanker loading bund design
- Pumped domestic and rainwater reticulation
- Boiler and manufacturing equipment flue design
- Warehouse ventilation and smoke spill fan design
